It's That Time Again

The Crockpot recipe for this week is Crockpot Chicken In 5 Ingredients. This recipe is perfect for anyone who has ever thought, "What?! I have to make dinner tonight?" Is anyone else having these thoughts after that much needed Christmas break? I know I sure am! LOL! I stumbled across this recipe via Pinterest when I was searching for something I could literally throw in my Crockpot before I rushed out the door to go to work. As a busy working mom constantly on the go I find myself rushing more and more these days. LOL! Anywho, this is one of my family's favorite/easy crock pot chicken & rice recipes.
Crockpot Chicken In 5 Ingredients

Ingredients:
2-4 frozen boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese (let sit out to soften if you have the time)
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 package Italian dressing seasoning
Rice
(I use the one bag of the boil in the bag brown rice which I believe is equal to four servings of rice)

Directions:
Stir the cream cheese, cream of chicken, and seasoning together in the crockpot. When I am not completely pressed for time I actually start it on low and let them sit in there for about 30 minutes so the cream cheese is softer to stir. Put the frozen chicken in and cover with the mix. Cook on high 4-6 hours or until the chicken is cooked and fall-apart-tender. After the first two hours when the chicken is softer I cut it up into strips for easier eating. How easy is that!?

Cook the rice in a rice cooker or per your packages instructions and smother with chicken mixture! The Italian seasoning is the secret ingredient! So yummy!
