An Early Christmas Gift & The Recipe of the Week


While shopping at Lowe's this weekend my husband and I came across this beauty. It's a 6.5 quart Crock Pot! My husband bought it for me. I used it to do Crock Pot chicken and it works so much better than the little crock pot I had.
This is the digital temperature control on the Crock Pot. Can we say AWESOME!

It's that time again for this week's crock pot recipe of the week. This week's recipe came from my favorite new obsession Pinterest! 3 Packet Pot Roast is so delicious and easy and a definite must have for the busy working mom on the go.

3 Packet Pot Roast

Ingredients:
3 lb beef roast (any cut of your choice)

1 package Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing mix

1 package brown gravy mix

1 package Italian dressing mix

1 cup of water (you can double the amount of water if you think you need to)

Directions:

Place beef roast in Crock Pot.

Mix all seasoning packets in a small bowl.

Sprinkle seasoning mix all over the beef roast.

Add water.

Cook on low for 6-8 hours.

This recipe is so delicious and easy, my family loves it an requests it all the time!
