D.I.Y. Chalkboard Refrigerator Magnet
Hello everyone!
I was very productive this weekend and knocked quite a few items off my To Do List.
I have been wanting to create my own command center in my kitchen for the longest time.
A command center is a place in your home that your family can come to see anything of importance that is coming up.
I also wanted to utilize this space to post my weekly menu plans, coupons and information about my home; paint swatches, H.O.A. information, etc.
I was inspired from doitonadime's youtube video.
Her YouTube channel is great and you should check it out and subscribe.
Materials:
1.) A sheet of magnet
My husband happened to have some left over from a work project but you can also find some here:
2.) Chalkboard spray paint
3.) Chalk
Instructions:
I cut down my magnet sheet to my desired size.
I spray painted my magnet sheet.
I used three good coats.
I let it dry for 24 hours.
Prime with chalk. This just means scribbling over your entire painted magnet with chalk.
After you erase the scribble you are good to go.
Here is my finished product:
This was super fun project!
