The Weekend

We had a nice laid back weekend.

Friday I enjoyed wearing my new statement necklace I found at Brooke & Nicole. 

Saturday Morning Daddy & Colton went to Academy Sports and I got a 

little impromptu shopping trip for myself!

I put my Starbucks gift card to go use :)

I found some cute summer sandals at Shoestation for 15% off.

Since they were such a great price I bought a black pair too!

 I adorned my Happy Everything platter with my heart attachment I got for Christmas.

I participated in my first photo blog weekend via Instagram.

And because I love Valentine's Day so much, 

I took a picture of my heart attachment :)

It's the small things in life that make me smile.

I found out on Tuesday night that my picture from Saturday was featured.

Those strawberries from Costco were so delish!

I also entered my first giveaway on Instagram.

I did not win but had to show the cute children's clothes I tried to win.

I just love the little overalls, so cute :)

When everyone finished shopping we met at the park by our house.

 I did a little reminiscing of our wedding this weekend.

I'm one lucky girl! 

 Sunday night we watched the Superbowl.

During the halftime I show I enjoyed a yummy 

adult beverage while Beyonce performed.

 Colton has been fighting a terrible cold and I stayed home from work with him yesterday.

My poor little bear was so exhausted he fell asleep on my chest.

It took me back to my maternity leave when he would sleep in my arms.

My how fast he has grown!

I got some inspiration from a Bobby Flay cooking show and decided to make chicken kabobs for dinner.

They were so good and I thought very blog-worthy as well :)
