The Governor's Daughter & Prepping
Never in my life have I met someone that is as picky about spending money as I am. Now I am not saying that I am cheap, ask my hubby and he will tell you first hand this woman loves to spend some money, but I just hate it when I make a purchase and then a day later I see something I wanted even more. On my 28th birthday, my Mom and Dad graciously gave me some spending money. Now almost three weeks later I finally bought my birthday present and what an awesome present it is!!!!
The Governor's Daughter Pseudo Wedding Necklace
I don't know if you can tell but I am just smitten with my new necklace!
I am also proud to say that I am supporting one of Tallahassee's Fine local businesses.
You truly don't get this kind of wonderful, detail oriented work from a large department store.
The Governor's Daughter is named after the jewelry designer's Grandmother who was the daughter of the 28th Governor of Florida. I love how the designer incorporated her family history on the tag.
It's the little details that matter. :)
After picking up my necklace I needed to do a little Father's Day shopping.
I stopped by another great local business, Bedfellows.
Since husband reads our blog, I decided not reveal the identity of this gift.
I just know he is going to love it!
Well after some Father's Day shopping I also had some birthday shopping to do for my favorite little boy in the whole wide world. I picked up these adorable seersucker shorts from yet another local Tallahassee business, That's Mine Monogramming.
They go perfectly with his custom birthday shirt I found on etsy.
I also wanted to point out the adorable tag!
