Decreasing My Carbon Footprint

After much debate if no car payment was better than awesome gas mileage I came to the conclusion that awesome gas mileage would be better. 2012 Honda Civic LX.

As you obviously can see I purchased my car from Proctor Honda in Tallahassee. I can truly say this was one of the best car buying experiences I ever had. I went to Proctor anxious about the whole negotiating process. As soon as I found my car and they ran all the numbers they offered me almost $2,000.00 more than what I wanted for my previous car and the car payment was exactly what I was hoping for!

I love my car. It is smaller than my SUV but plenty of room for my family and at 33 mpg in the city and almost 44 on the highway you can't beat it. Let me put it like this to fill my tank up twice in my Honda is still cheaper than one tank of gas in my SUV! 

The color I ended up going with is called polished gun metal.

This is a picture of my odometer. To the left you will notice my gas gage. The center tells you your mph. To the right is a really cool feature that tells me how many mpg I am getting while driving.

This is the the radio screen and kind of a continuation of the odometer. It tells you how many miles are on the car, mpg, how many miles you traveled and also gives you the time and lists the radio station. I love of there is an auxiliary input for my iPhone and iPod. 

Proctor's even gave me a car detailing kit!

Of course in celebration of my new purchase I had to get a new key fob. I headed over to Loli & the Bean and picked this beauty up.

While picking out my new key fob I also realized I needed to get a monogram decal for the back window. I think it turned out really great and the color will really pop when I get the windows tinted.

Colton even got a new top of the line car seat to go in my new car.

The car seat even has a cup holder for my little buddy!
