Oh Crockpot How I Love Thee!
Since I now have a new found love for my crockpot I decided to blog about my favorite crockpot recipe of the week. I tested several out the past two weeks that I found via Pinterest and my crockpot cookbook. After hearing what my family thought of the recipes combined with my personal opinion I decided that the crockpot recipe of the week this week is........Drumbroll please....... crockpot barbecue chicken!

Crockpot Barbecue Chicken

Ingredients:
4-6 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts (i threw them in frozen.....even easier!)
1 bottle BBQ sauce (I tried this half and half with Stubbs BBQ Sweet Sauce and Stubbs Georgia Pecan Sauce but next time I will do it with Sweet Baby Ray's)
1/4 cup Apple Cidar Vinegar
1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 -1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions:
Mix BBQ sauce with all ingredients listed. Place chicken in crockpot and pour sauce over the chicken and cook on low for 4-6 hours. You pretty much don't even have to stir it.......how easy is that!? You can serve the chicken breasts whole or shred them like pulled pork. This recipe is so good and my family has already requested I make it again.
