Fireworks & Babys


This weekend my husband and I plan to celebrate our great nation. We also might possibly be celebrating the birth of our son Colton Joshua Gregory. I went to the doctor yesterday and I was 3 cm's dilated. That is quite an increase from the 1 cm I was last week. The nurse said there is a very good possibility I will be meeting my little buddy this weekend! I am so excited and so is Josh.

We already installed the car seat and base 2 weeks ago. I just love driving around with the car seat in my car! I also got the diaper bag, Boppy and my hospital bag ready and placed them by the front door so we can just grab them and go. I made a checklist of everything I would need to bring to the hospital and my bag quickly filled up. Josh and I picked up the nursery glider chair 2 weeks ago and it looks great in the nursery. We also put the nursery decal on the wall and it looks really, really good! Here is a picture of the chair! It is so comfortable!

While picking up the chair from Our New Baby, I just had to look around at all the neat baby stuff. I really recommend this store if you are expecting a baby. They really do have just about everything baby you could ever need. Josh and I found these adorable University of Alabama booties and infant cap. In the picture the cap looks like a different shade of crimson but the cap we bought is the same color as the booties in this picture.

They are so cute! Colton's going home outfit will consist of these adorable accessories and a really cute onesie!

On Saturday we are going to attempt one last maternity shoot with Judy D Photography. Hopefully we will be able to squeeze one last photo shoot in but if not I am more than ok with it. LOL!

We are so excited to meet Colton! I am truly blessed to be his Mommy!
